It really hit a nerve! My demographic (70 years) are generally not full of feminist theory, in fact we hate it because we value our opposite numbers! We remember the days when the word was a good word. The early classical feminists did a good thing--getting the vote etc--but now it's been carried way too far. April 9 edition of Western Standard, page 34 has an article you should read about "dead-beat Dads." David Warren is a writer (and has been called one of these Dads) I always want to listen to. He says the law has been designed around the principle, "a man can do no right, and a woman can do no wwrong." In my long years of living with the feminist movement, I too am sick of their angles. I pointed out in one of my blogs that many advertisements now depict men in inferior positions and women laughing at them. David Warren says it's time for men to make a public stand against thist, because the mainstream media refuse to discuss the subject as they are in fear of feminist ideology. This view of extreme feminism concludes that as men generally rule the world they are the cause of evil in the world. Men are a necessary evil to propagate the race and the world would be a safer and happier place if women replaced them! This distorts the God-given roles of the sexes when women elevate themselves above men. The desire to seek equality of value and function for women in society is good, but it is in family relationships that it causes havoc, and then in the greater world. Keep up the good blogging.
