Move please!

So I noticed that one of our fellow bloggers wrote about driving etiquette and how it seems to be no longer present, and it inspired me to write about my pet peave at the university.

I don’t know about you guys but the university is a pretty busy place when classes are getting out, and many people are left having to book it from the end of the university all the way up to the front, in 10 minutes.  Stressful I know.  But how annoying is it when people are walking in these big groups down the hall talking amongst one another all in a horizontal line, and not allowing anyone to go past.  How hard is it to move?  It drives me crazy, especially when they look back and see you in a panic trying to get by, and do absolutly nothing about it.

Another thing that really annoys me is when it is busy in the hallways and there is a definate way that traffic flows.  It flows the same way as if you were on the road, but then there are these ‘rebels’ who decide that they are going to go through the door that everyone walking the opposite way is going through.  Seroiusly, is it that difficult to follow rules.

Haha, I am terribly sorry for this rant, but today’s a crappy day, and writing about the pet peave helps to get alittle stress of my chest until my next midterm….wohoo!

I’m really happy to hear that I’m not the only one that is about to start a huge brawl in the middle of UHall!! I think I have less patience walking from class to class than I do while driving. Its so frustrating to be stuck behind a huge group of people when you’re trying to motor to your next class. I especially find it frustrating when you’re going up the stairs from UHAll and people think its okay to chat with a friend!! Rant away, because I feel the same way and I’m sure there are many more people that are annoyed by the same thing!

Guilty as charged for the crime of being uber annoyed at these people! Do the hall-blockers not notice the chairs scattered all over the bloody place? Or do they need us to take it one step further and hold a tutorial on ‘how to sit in a chair’? I think these are the same people who talk in the library’s quiet areas and have long, loud in-depth conversation on their cell-phones about weekend plans when others are trying to work. Just a suspicion I have.

How true is that. I think its worse when your walking behind someone, walking, walking, and then they just stop right there to talk to some people and you almost run into them and they don’t make any effort to move to the side, they just stay there…yep its frustrating.
